Pete Hoida Pete Hoida was born at Birkenhead in 1944. He ceased writing circa 1985, after which he dedicated his time wholly to painting. After a hiatus of 25 years he resumed writing and has had poems published in 2011 and 2013. == Poetry == He would be better represented by these later volumes: final publication "Literary Breakfast",〔privately printed 1985〕 "The Correct Demanded Direction",〔Pig Press, Newcastle, ISBN 0903997452, 1979〕 and "Stumble",〔Poet and Peasant Press, London, ISBN 0-9503761-1-6, 1975〕 which were only printed in very small editions of 300 and received scant attention. His more noticed, very early published "Lips",〔Alison & Busby, London, ISBN 0-85031-067-9, 1972〕 would not represent him at his best. Also published: "Selected Poems of Blaise Cendrars" (Translation).〔Penguin, London, ISBN 0-14-042231-5, 1980〕 Poems have been published in magazines: 'Obsessed with Pipework';〔Issue 54, ISSN - 1367-9147, Spring 2011〕 'The Rialto',〔Number 75, Summer 2012 and The Rialto', Number 78, Summer 2013, ISSN - 0268-5981〕
